I look in every day or two to see if there are any new forum posts or trip reports or photo albums. Come to think of it, that'd be another application for Paddle Planner: Helping out with the CTWS. (That's short for Canoe Trip Withdrawal Syndrome.)

Working on 2018 plans:

1. CanoeCopia (probably my one and only time)
2. Week 1 & 2; Wabakimi Project (last year), May 19 to June 2nd
3. August 8th: Quetico trip with brother's family, group of 6; working on options, good fishing & not too many portages, 7 days
4. August 18, Woodland Caribou with my dear wife; Leano Lake Entry; 8 days
5. September: with a willing partner, would try a longish trip into Wabakimi; or solo some more in BWCA/Q.

I canoe early & late; not a fan of the bug season...

Here!
Looking forward to resuming my May and September trips to the BWCA.
I've been sidelined since May 2015 with Lyme disease symptoms. Treatment is self-directed, and like most chronic Lyme, it's slow.

Here, daydreaming 2018's adventures. Thinking about tackling the grand portage with a friend if our schedules work out...I want to cross that off my bucket list.

I'm here occasionally. Initial plans are for Wabakimi in late June so I can win the canoe.
