I got this "deal" (more of an announcement) in my email today - New 360 Degree Sports Camera at CampSaver. At first I thought it was like a GoPro, and it might be - I don't know since I don't own one. But it sure made me drool.

The ad shows a surfboard, but I imagined putting it on the bow of my canoe and capturing "the moment" (you know what I'm talking about). It would be a lot easier than trying to stitch together all of my photos to create a panorama of a campsite (which is what I currently do). Not only that, but I think I read somewhere in there about putting on goggles and "immersing yourself in the 360 degree video." It sure would be nice to put on the goggles on a blustery winter day and escape to my haven.

I can't really afford it at $400 (that's almost half of a canoe!), but it was sure fun to dream this afternoon.
