How's the fishing been going this year for the BWCA area? Looking forward to catching some eyes in a couple weeks!

I went in on Friday and came out today. Fishing was pretty slow for me and everyone I talked to until Sunday. Then it picked up a little bit. What area are you going to?

The last couple of years we have been going up to Brule after planting is done and first cutting of hay is put up.
We Go in heavy being that we don't have to portage. Depth finders, full tackle boxes and plenty of leaches to catch many walleyes and bass.
Big water=big fish for us.
Just looking forward to another great fishing trip!
