My copy of the Boundary Waters Journal came today, and I was surprised and pleased to see that TuscaroraBorealis had his trip report included! I thought I recognized some of the photos and stories, and sure enough, he had posted the trip report here, too - First fish and a walking stick. Congrats, TB! (And by the way, Aurora looks really cute in all those photos.)

Thanks Ben. I appreciate it but, give the glory to God for allowing me the grace. Still it was a fun, yet demanding, process.

Thank you.

Just a quick aside. It was NOT our daughter's first trip. That was an editorial addition. Not sure why they added that?

Which begs the question, what was the first trip? Although I don't intend to take my 3 year old in this year, I've been considering the options for that eventual first trip.

I enjoyed the article as I flew on a business trip this week. Thanks for carrying me mentally away from my cramped coach seat!

This was her first trip. I believe she was 2 months old.

Wow, 2 months. Brave family but it looks like a good time!

I'm hoping to get my boy up there next year when he is 4. He would be probably be ready now, but Mom said I couldn't take him before she goes (famous last words since she wasn't actually hoping to go...now we have her first trip planned for August!) So I enjoy reading stories about children since this is uncharted territory for me. Thanks again for sharing your story in BWJ.
