Hi All,

As permit day draws closer, what trips are you planning for 2024?

Mine:

  1. two-week solo in May to Kawishiwi or Brant
  2. one week with two of my daughters in June to Baker
  3. two-week solo in September, alone or with a daughter, but not sure where yet
  4. one-week solo in October to John or Pine

I know this is a quiet forum but still surprised there haven't been any responses.

I live in Missouri so it's a bit of a drive but not too much. On the other hand, my tripping partner and I are the entire kitchen staff at a shelter that serves 3 daily meals everyday of the year...so we can only manage one trip up to the BWCA each year. Last year we covered a lot of miles so this year we're planning on a long first day to Zenith and then spend the better part of the week day tripping around Wine and Mesaba.

Going with my youngest son to LIS South and staying on Bootleg in July. Have 3 guiding trips planned so far. I'm hoping to go on a solo trip in June, but I'll just see what is available then.
