This site is expansive and set up on a hill. Plenty of spots to hang a hammock. But no good tent pads. Our whole group sleeps in hammocks, so we loved this site. There is a hiking trail that runs just behind the camp. So, if you wanted to spend some time hiking, it's an option. The lake is small. We didn't catch. But a short portage to West Bear proved productive.

We didn't stay here but seeing the steep climb from the landing along with its latrine overlooking a hiking trail, I wasn't too impressed. It is a lone isolated site however and looks to be open and likely breezy.
