A fairly large site, with an excellent space for setting up a tarp. Grate is down by the lake, facing northwest, for nice sunset eating. The site is a little close to #1111, but our neighbors were quiet. There is a lot of junk back in the forest here (artifacts seems too nice a word), including a couple massive piles of rusting Schlitz cans. Did not find a car, though I didn't know I was looking for one. There is a large rock face at the back of the site. You can get on top in the direction of the latrine.

Was a nice enough site to check out the artifacts. I'm not sure that I'd love staying there though due to how much stuff is in the woods. I couldn't find the car in Chris Halvorson's pictures, despite a lot of looking. It doesn't look like it should be hard to find, but no luck and we had to keep moving. If anyone finds it, gps coordinates would be helpful here!

Quite the nice site. We stayed here on our way out. As others have said, artifacts everywhere. Lots of cool stuff to see. Lots of decent options for tent pads. Great camp cooking area. We rode out a nice hail storm here on the group's last night.

Lots of artifacts around camp & in the water... would be a 5, but we could hear people on near by sites
