Decent site with a good landing on the West side. Not many choices on this lake.

Did a couple nights here with 3 others. We had two smaller tents and were fine with the tent pads. Landing was good. Good swimming area in front of the long sloping rocks. Woke up to a fish with no body, just the head on the big sloping rock approach. Going to assume an eagle was snacking on our site during the night.

As others have stated, the campsite is really spread out along the lake. Although an average campsite, it offers 5-star stargazing rocks to the south. A lack of large shade trees and a relatively open site that makes tarp-hanging harder would probably make this less desirable on a hot summer day. The wolves were howling and we had a gorgeous sunrise. No fish caught from the shoreline, but plenty of space to try your luck.

Beautiful campsite. Spread out laterally along the shoreline. Best landing is SW of the firegrate area. The path to the latrine is grown up and buggy. There is one really nice tent pad with a beautiful view of the lake. Nice swimming off the front of the site.

This is more of a 3.5-star campsite than 4-star. Large sloping rock for entire campsite length (which is quite long). Good view of the lake. Landing was good - just had to find a flatter spot along the rock. The best takeout was a ways from the main area, so this campsite is a bit spread out.

Nice open campsite with lots of exposed rock along the shore. This is the best site on the lake, but when we were there it was a bit of a mess from campers who couldn't seem to find the nice latrine up the well-worn trail a short distance.
