A solid site with some decent sheltered pads back in the woods. Another pad a bit back from the fire grate that was open to the south wind we experienced that evening and all night. Very nice open rock on the lake with two good landings, the one on the west side is large and gently sloped while the southeast landing is a bit tighter and drops off more quickly. The kitchen is basic and, for a nice site relatively close to high traffic areas, is not overly furnished by past visitors. The only real negative is the latrine which is near to overflowing and not far from a possible tent pad or two. Some damage to trees has been done by amateur bushcrafters as well. Overall, a very nice site with open views and protection from most hard winds. Just be careful while settling yourself on the loo.

Nice site that is protected from the wind once in the trees, but whipping out of the south it'll blow dust over anything you have on the top of the little hill. Perfect for hammocks In a more rainy year I bet the landing spot here would be a lovely approach

Nice open campsite. It has 1 tent pad and 1 possible pad in the woods. Plenty of areas for hammocks. The landing really nice and big. It is on a nice rock point and has old metal ring that is drilled into the rock which we assumed was from the logging days. You can see majority of the lake from this site. The fire pit is fairly open, winds from the south will blow any smoke right in your face. We traveled to the island just to the east of this site for some dried aged wood to burn and there was plenty of it, just bring something to cut it. The latrine is set far back from the site and plenty of trees to hang bear bags from.

Great views. Sweet rocky point. Nice wind block. Great bocce ball course in the woods. Limited tent pads would be my only knock. Maybe one good one, maybe.
