Quite the nice camp kitchen, lots of sitting room around the site. There are a few really dangerous trees leaning over some of the tent pads, so watch out! Pretty cool island and nice to camp in an unburned site!

A large boulder provides a sheltered landing. The fire grate is elevated and provides a nice overlook of the surrounding area and the ravages of the Pagami fire (this site was untouched by the fire). It's a beautiful site and I would rate it higher except I could only find one 'semi' decent tent pad. There was a cool rock near the fire grate.

LAST SOUTHBOUND SITE BEFORE THE BURN, enough said; spacious site with good trees for bearlines or hammocks

This site is just past the burn zone. The landing is good, the camp area worked well for my party of 2. Decent cover from winds out of the NW. The tent pads are not the best.
