Site was starting to regrow after the fire. Great views. Nice elevation and place for a few canoes. Our family usually takes the kitchen apart and rebuilds it. We left a beautiful kitchen with lots of flat shelf rocks around the edge of the fire for cooking and storage.

We stopped and passed on this one. The fire has gotten rid of any shade from this site. The one decent tent pad also happens to be the main drainage route so good luck if it rains. We passed on this one.

Poor landing, so-so kitchen, few flat spots, little shade. It's kind of neat camping in the burn area, but otherwise, not the greatest.

This is a nice site despite of (or because of) the burn. There is a nice sandy landing on the west side of the island. There are almost no trees left since the fire, so there is very little or no shade. The flowers covering the island, though, are beautiful. If it is berry season, you should be able to eat your fill. There are 2 or 3 nice tent pads.
