I stopped here for a break on my way downstream on Knox Creek. I really liked this spot. Located up high on a rock outcrop that was not burned in 2021, so it has many standing trees. What makes it unique is the lack of underbrush, so many tent spots and room to roam around. The only downside is that the fire pit needs some work and has tall grass growing in it. A flipped-over aluminum fishing skiff marks the location of this campsite.
