Great island campsite. One of the better ones in the Park for larger groups. The Park or someone cleaned up this site in 2022 with a chainsaw. When I visited this site in 2020 there were many downed trees, but much better now. This is a sheltered peninsula with three different directions to access depending on wind direction. The fire pit is sheltered in the trees. Many downed trees for fire wood. Perfect site for base camping on Knox Lake.

Great site. Nicely sheltered from the wind. Several swimming locations.

Camp site is fairly well worn but in a nice location. Laid over here for a day after a rough trip in from Lund Lake. Beautiful setting and has the benefits of being both protected by the trees and windy enough to blow away the bugs. There is a potential site in a clearing perhaps 50 yards south of this campsite that is about 10' higher that looks to have some potential for a larger group.
