Nice point views, can see the portage from Lake One easily. it was windy so didn't use the kitchen, big rock in the middle of the point was a good work space. Hung my hammock up the trail towards the latrine. That is quite a throne. Nice site overall.

A very nice site, some trails to explore the island if you keep walking past the latrine. Beautiful views from the fire grate, if a bit exposed, but there is a nice sheltered area further in the site to hang tarps. Good tent pads, but the area is so flat it did hold quite a bit of water when the storms came. Not many great hammock options close to camp but I was able to make one work.

Nice site. This one was really exposed out on the point, but had great tent pads for sure. Didn't end up spending the night with the weather coming in.

Nice easy campsite with a pretty good bear tree. But we did get a late night visit from a big black bear. Luckily it didn't get our bag but was persistent and kept us all up for a few hours. Chased it away with rocks and noise.

This site is out on a point, and kind of has separate areas for the fire area and kitchen and the tent pads. Enjoyed our last night in the BWCA here, and enjoyed it. Got a sunset visit from a huge snapping turtle that certainly didn't seem very scared of us. The only bad thing would be that there was only one log to sit on around the fire area.
