Not quite the deluxe site it used to be since the 2021 fire. There are 20 unburned trees at the tip of the island but the main tent spot is completely burnt. I made a spot for my tent and possibly another spot could be sussed out. Not much protection for the tent here anymore. But the best option between Douglas and Indian House right now.

I stopped at this site for break when heading east and found that it survived the 2021 fire. The campsite on the peninsula has the only live trees around. Small site but still nice since it is the only campsite between Indian House Lake and Hatchet Lake that is not burned. All the others are gone.
