Not a premium site but well-used (I believe as a fishing camp short lunch spot) and a nice flat landing spot. Sheltered from northerly but somewhat exposed to southerly winds.

I stopped here to check it out and agree with the other comments...very nice campsite. Great spot to base camp. I will keep this in mind for future trips.

Made my top 2 sites of the trip, and I rated it higher than the other. It has a good landing, good swimming, good fishing. It has a separate tent pad along the shore with a nice water view that I used to set up shop with my hammock. It appears to have seen more use than many other sites I saw, but for good reason!

I don't take good notes but I gave this 5 stars, which meant it was a pretty damn good site for us. When the wind is strong from the NW and you are coming in from the east, this site is a welcome sight!
