We've enjoyed staying at this site many times. The tent area can get a bit buggy, since it's down in a gully, but the huge bedrock dome next to the site is worth it. There's no good spot to pitch a tent at the top of the rock, unfortunately, but it's a great place to have a meal, or just hang out and enjoy the view of Fall Lake. The kitchen area is well-sheltered with plenty of seating. It's clearly a popular site, as firewood can sometime require a hike to obtain. There are plenty of trees to hang hammocks, clothes lines, and food bags.

Good site with a nice view from the fire grate. There is a large rock right next to the site with good views. The site gets a good breeze to push away the bugs.
