Shallow, sandy landing. The entire site is a bit sandy. Red and white pines. There are nice sitting logs and rocks throughout the site. The main travel corridor is on the other side of the island, so you escape most of the traffic. The two good tent pads are both a little slanted.

There is no level spot in this camp and during our visit the entire island was surrounded by weeds, forcing us to head north to get water that wasn't murky. Plenty of shade and hammock trees.
