There are two landings. One is steep and right by the site. Another one is a short walk. Both are sand/gravel. Decent firegrate area. It is right next to the portage, so there is a lot of traffic.

This site is OK, straight across from the Newton Lake portage. Alot of noise. Fishing is good but you definitely loose the sense of being in the BWCA at this point.
