I love this campsite, I've stayed in it multiple times over the years as a staging point just before exiting the Snowbank Entry Point on our final night. There aren't a lot of tent sites, but if you didn't mind a few roots and you're friendly with your party you could squeeze in more. Lots of trees for cover and an excellent view from the firepit. The southern half of Boot is pretty shallow and weedy so the swimming isn't the greatest but everything else is great. In the last couple years the best trees for a bear bag have toppled but there is a new crop of good ones on the trail back to the shitter.

Great site, the best fire grate we had in BWCA, and a lot of fish in Boot lake.

Nice campsite that catches the eastern sun.

Excellent flat and level tent pads, with easy access to lake. Plenty of trees for shade and shelter. Only drawback, this portion of the lake is only five or so feet deep (southern portion).
