Open kitchen and fire grate area is very sunny (all day long) and seating area needs repair. Need to retreat to tent area to find shade. Access to shore isn’t great so fishing from site is only ok. Not a good place to hang a a food pack. We moved to site 1131 after one night.

Don't be intimidated by the elevation after the landing. Enough room to pull up boats and a beautiful site overlooking the water. Would camp here again

Landing was decent with large area to pull canoes out of water. (most of this area had exposed rocks though). Good path up to an exposed kitchen with well worn logs. Seating at campfire was limited. Large exposed area around the kitchen. Couple of good hang trees. Tent areas above kitchen had two good flat sites and a third with some slope and inactive anthill. (I would keep an eye on two dead trees that are in this area). Fourth tent site in open area about 30 yards from kitchen. Latrine is above kitchen with a climb up on exposed rock that might be a challenge when wet. The sandy landing would offer a good place to enter water for swimming. Excellent view of the lake and viewing the stars at night. Plenty of trails to explore especially to the East and had an adequate supply of firewood.

Good open site with a sandy landing a lots of space.
