A very scenic site close to the edge of the wilderness in case this suits your needs (small child, quick trip, nervous about going deep). Very open site nestled in big Norway (red) pine stand. Good rock ledge for swimming and fishing, little sandy beach area for kids to play in shallow water, fire grate area very nice. Landing is accommodating and the view is nice. Can take day trips up the north kawishiwi or into clear lake and across to the south kawishiwi from here.
