This is a great site. Large, 20ft above the water, great views in three directions. In a buggy year, the extra breeze afforded by the elevation was very welcome. The best tent pad is grassy, which was a treat after some hard sites. Landing is best achieved on the west side, where you'd likely be sheltered from anything except a south wind. There is a boundary marker in the forest beyond the latrine. Not a lot of great tarp locations, but perfect for a clear evening.

Interesting long rock point. Can park the canoe right alongside a rock shelf for easy unloading. Nice view. There is enough shade around the kitchen. One tent pad is on the pine duff behind the kitchen. The other is on the grass, slightly slanted but OK.
