This site was devastated by the Pagami Creek fire. As of our visit, there was only one large white pine left standing - thus severely limiting tarp & hammock options. Also there are several downed trees impeding access from the more convenient backside landing; and it's a steep climb up the cliff at front & center. Excellent views are afforded from this elevated perch, and there are good tent pads and enormous sitting logs by the grate but, it will take awhile for this one to regain it's charm.
