This is a backpacking site - would be hard for canoes to use. Right off the trail, lots of space and different from most BWCA sites, nestled back in the forest. The Angleworm Trail runs through the northern edge of the site, and the Home-Gull portage runs just to the east so I could imagine this being a noisy and not-very-private site at some times, but for us it was fine. Latrine is not close to the campsite.

Off the water 25 yards, walk down the trail 100 yards to find a place to fish, good walleye in the area. We were backpacking so it was just off the trail. We had to fetch our water from the portage area... Not my favorite site. buggy!
