Easy sloped rock landing. Fire grate is on an exposed point. It could be windy, but that might be good to keep the bugs away. Despite that, the bugs still found me. It is a fairly open site. One great tent pad with a couple of other possibilities.

This site has no good qualities other than as a place to stop briefly and have lunch, which is how we used it. I would not stay here unless I had no other option.

I visited briefly on my way down the Frost river and this site appears to be open and useable although there are a couple of widow makers hanging over the best tent pad. The grate is up and on a prominent point to deter bugs and the landing was not bad. (sorry, I didn't count tent pads. I'm solo so it never occurs to me to look for more than one)
