The most distinguishing feature of the campsite is the large, long sand beach. It is so big that you can pick it out on satellite photos. The sand extends a long way into the water (so probably not great fishing from the site). The fire grate is nice with a great view. Half of the site is grass, the other half is red pines. It is flat, and you can put a tent almost anywhere, but there are three spots in particular that are the flattest. The biggest downside to the site is the wind - there is a reason there is so much sand here.
