Nice Camp. Well sheltered hammock and tent site. Several good Hammock locations in this campsite. The second tent site is exposed. Good access to fishing. The camp is in line with the motor area of Loon Lake so the motor sounds carry into camp. Motor Boaters also visit near the camp making it less privet than most.

Overall great Site! Beautiful views of Little Loon Lake. Doesnt seem like it is visited much. Good landing spot as well! Only complaint is that the Fire Grate is facing the woods and not looking towards Little Loon Lake.

Great site. Doesn't look like much from the water - you have to get up close to see that it is nice. Great view of Little Loon looking down towards the channel into Loon. Tall red pines - create a "cathedral" feel with lots of open space. Great hammock trees. Pretty secluded (not much traffic at the nearby portage). Nice breeze off the lake keeps bugs at bay. Would definitely camp here again! Definitely the better of the two sites on Little Loon.
