There is a sandy landing on the north side of the point. (Don't try the south side like me.) Nice view from the kitchen with some large white pines. Trails are everywhere. Tent pads are spread throughout the peninsula, though some may be hard to put stakes in. It could be a little windy from the south, but it is mostly protected.
