This site is very nice and open close to the tip of this little peninsula. There are a number of soft and flat tent pads and lots of large trees good for hanging hammocks. The fire pit is well placed and there is a squared-off beam placed as a bench. The swimming around here is not the best as the north shore is quite marshy while the south is only accessible by the canoe put-in. The views are quite beautiful, however. It is only a few hundred-metre paddle to the Stratton > St Andrews portage. Similarly, you can paddle north from here to get to High Falls.
