I give it a second star for the experience. Owls, loons, wolves VERY close by (within 50 yards) in evening. Overgrown site with deadfall, tight space even for a 2-man tent. Hammock a good idea here.

Considering the lake and the location, this campsite isn't too bad - I've seen much worse. There are two lumpy tent pads. The kitchen is decent with a good view of the lake. Downed trees in front of the site block most of the landing area. The lake is low, shallow, and swampy. It is very secluded, though, and full of wildlife. I would think that it is perfect for moose.
