Somewhat marshy area, sunny spot with available shade, served its purpose.

Has 3 good tent sites behind and in the woods. Lots of bugs and the kitchen area gets Sun all afternoon and night. Nice location with island and cove next to site.

Decent landing but small, unattractive site. Fairly marshy region of the lake and the campsite was overrun by large black flies that fortunately didn't bite. However, the flies gave the site a "trashy" ambiance that we didn't appreciate. The kitchen is out in the open with no tree protection, and the sun is fierce in the afternoon. The lake water was silty and brownstained, and the entire area had a somewhat stale odor to it. We ended up packing up and leaving after about 90 minutes because a forest fire broke out about 2 miles to our west.

Fine for the one night that we needed it. Clearly heavily used, wildlife obviously fed. Pretty good landing and what looks like an intriguing bay to fish out front.

Nice, elevated site with a good swimming hole out front, kind of smallish. Sort of difficult to access, but a beautiful site.

I really like this campsite, I've stayed on it 4 different years. It has a really nice location with a good amount of privacy. It has 3 good tent pads, but you can squeeze 4 tents on it. It has good rocks and shore for loading, unloading, and launching canoes. It has an island very close by for dumping fish remains. The latrine is up a fairly steep hill, but it's not too far away. There is a large sneaky snapping turtle that likes to hang around this campsite. We have had some success catching fish near this campsite too. And not too bad for taking a dip on warm summer days. In 2008 we did see a moose and a black bear from this campsite.
