We stopped here for a bathroom break on our way west. It is a small and compact site with everything close to the water. The landing is average. The site is not elevated so unloading is easy. There are two decent tent pads that would each fit a two-person tent. The ground is mostly level covered with dirt and grass. This site has mature trees that escaped the fire, which means shade, and places for tarps, hammocks, and bear hangs. It is secluded, so from camp you might never see another person unless they come by looking for a site or fishing in the bay. It's a scenic little bay too. It seemed like it sees little use as the latrine trail, though good, is getting overgrown. It looks like it would be very good (4 stars) for a soloist or a couple looking for seclusion without ever having to portage. Any more than 4 people would be too big of a group. I didn't fish, but there appears to be good fishing spots in the area.
