I debated between two and three stars, but I really liked the ambience for some reason, so I gave it three. There is a nice sloped (not steep) rock landing. The campsite is on a rocky point with a good view. Most of the site is grassy. It is in a burn area, so you may have trouble hanging a food pack or a hammock.

This site got devastated by the Cavity Lake fire. That said the landing is workable but, the fire grate and the better portion of the site are completely exposed. It will be awhile before reliable tarp and hammock options are available. Tent pads are grassy, though small.
