Awesome Campsite! Tent area with a view and level with tons of room! Cooking area is best I’ve seen so far. Fishing is great with easy access to rocks for swimming! I caught two walleyes from shore in the morning and we had them for breakfast!

Really impressive site. Stopped for a lengthy shore lunch, and wish we could have stayed. You could have a couple dozen hammockers in here!
......Edit & note: Not sure where to mention it, so here it goes: In the nearby area of the lake, perhaps half a km to maybe 2km WSW & SW...our compasses were all over the place; literally saw 180 degree swings over short distances...so there appear to be local magnetic anomalies in the Shield. Be aware...

One the nicest in the park,great southwest views.
Fishing and day trips close by.Site is heavily used so need to search hard for fire wood.

Large site on a south-facing point, good takeout, sheltered tent spots

Stayed here in 2009. Very nice red pine covered site. Seemed to be well trafficked, but not abused.
