We stayed here in July of 2003. The site has a lower area where you can pull up and store your canoes but the tent and campfire area is on a bit of a rock plateau. The campsite has plenty of space so finding somewhere to put a tent isn't an issue, except that the campsite is basically solid rock covered with moss. It had just rained so it was like camping on a sponge. Staking out the tent isn't easy and firewood isn't great (mostly moss covered). The view of Olifaunt to the west is great as the site is up on a cliff and there are some cool aspects to this site but it's not the most functional
