Water levels where high, and swimming in the rapids under the falls is very fun. Deep enough that there were no rocks or obstructions to worry about as the current takes you. Site is nice, sun is a bit to direct for a hot day, but swimming is also great. Can safely jump from the rocks right in camp into the water. Have to swim around and climb a bit to get back to camp.

This campsite is just around the corner from Split Rock Falls and right across from the portage that goes around the falls. It's elevated above the water with a nice view. I posted that it has three tent pads, but there is probably room for four. Camped here in July 2010.
