Grassy area behind sloping round rocks out of water. Kitchen area protected on 3 sides by trees. Great site.

Beautiful campsite. Has a good breeze to keep any bugs at bay, has a GREAT approach from the south east. In August of '06 there was a big dead tree that COULD cause problems during a windstorm, but there are plenty of other places to put a tent. The rocks to the south west/due south of the site were great for swimming, laying out, reading, fishing you name it. Interesting fact: I hooked an old hiking boot fishing from there, cartoon style through the top of the back. There are also some reefs about 50-100 yards off shore that provide GREAT walleye fishing.

Beautiful, level campsite with grass/clover ground cover. Landing is rocky and from the northeast. Large granite slabs at the lake's edge provide nice sitting areas and views to the north, east and south. Fire area is back in from the lake and has log benches surrounding it. Six of us stayed here in '01.

Stayed here in '04 and liked it. Might even be 4 star. Soak up the sun laying on the rock bank.
