This is a pretty nice site along a busy throughway. It's pretty eerie being here and seeing where Ham Lake fire took off.

Nice sandy landing. Tall, steep rock that you have to climb up from the landing, though. Decent view from kitchen. Lots of traffic going by the site. Not actually in the BWCA, so you do not need a permit to stay here.

Didn't stay here but saw large group with 6 different tents located at this camp. Lots of traffic in this area and circles right around the campsite. If you like people watching, this is the site for you.
