After bypassing two previous sites, we encountered a canoe with two women heading our way. They informed us that every site to the east was full except maybe this one. That got my group a little nervous. We made a beeline for this site only to find a tarp and a group set up here. They informed us that they were only getting out of the rain for a snack and weren't staying. If we wanted, they invited us to set up and they'd leave as soon as the rain let up. This site has a nice beach landing, so we unloaded some things and ate a snack there. After the group headed out, we set up camp. This is a nice site with a beach and a view, but the kitchen and tent pads are a bit closed in for my liking.

Multiple landings but, neither are what I'd call convenient. Dilapidated log seating, sheltered site with marginal view of lake. Several tent pads but, several are away from firegrate. Good hammock options. Climb to latrine. A small cave by the lakeshore.

This site was perfect for my 10-year-old son and me. The landing was a shallow bay that was also a good swimming hole. There was a small sandy area that we wet our feet in. The kitchen area was big and open. Not a great view from the kitchen, but there were some nice sitting rocks that we used to watch the lake, loons, and mergansers. One good tent pad by the kitchen (we used it for our tarp) and two more down a trail. One downside was that it was pretty shallow around the site, and we did not have any luck fishing from shore. But, then again, we are not great fishermen, so others might do better.

A nice site with many options for tent pads spread around the site. The fire pit is pretty small, but does lend itself well for a tarp over the grate. Nice common area by the pit and a number of options for hammocks. Pretty shallow right around camp, but easy to walk out into the water for a quick dip.

Has two approaches to campsite, one from the south and one from the west. Nice views of the lake while still being somewhat secluded. I remember there being two decent sized tent pads, there could have been more. There was an excellent pair of trees to hang hammock from. Nice rocks to sit out on and enjoy the breeze and Long Island lake.
