Looks like a great site except for the 3 huge widow maker snags around the fire pit and tent pads. Too dangerous for us with the winds we were experiencing in 2013. Excellent access to lake, and large exposed rocks. When the snags come down this will be much better.

Stopped to check it out on 8/27/2012 and were VERY surprised by what we found at this previously unrated site. It had been used recently and someone had spelled out "welcome" in freshly cut and split firewood. There were 4 tent pads back in the protection of trees, with a trail looping through and back to the fireplace area. We thought the fireplace was better than most, with double parallel logs on two sides and a dead tree seat. (Two widowmakers near the FP.) Great landing with protection from wind and easy access, good viewing rocks, but limited tarp options. Very nice site -- 3.5-stars.
