This is a small hole in the forest, with a flat area big enough for 7 tents.

Great campsite. Stayed here 2 nights. Yes, there are still some widow makers still hanging. Had good luck fishing directly south at the entrance to Cheatan Bay

Had lunch here on 8/27/2012. Good landing at this small/cozy site. "Okay" fireplace -- open/exposed -- 3 old, low logs for seating. One tent pad located in shady spot surrounded by large trees, another smaller one nearby, both probably subject to water pooling if rainy. (Other tents might fit on site, but would be on rocks.) No good tarp options, but good a good rock "porch" for viewing, relaxing, etc. Very protected with plenty of shade most of the day, with fair views east, limited views south and west. (There was a "hanging widowmaker" near the best tent pad.)
