Excellent elevated campsite. Open space, with very good fire pit area, and lots of tent sites. Plenty of bear bag hanging options. Site looks west over Saganagons with beautiful views of several small islands. Good landing spot and space for canoes.

Was occupied when we stayed just NW of here (likely occupied by other reviewer rationmaster!); checked it out the next day - this one's a really nice site. Elevated, great sunset views, some decent tent pads and good elbow room. Appears to have excellent swimming potential, and in turn likely decent fishing from camp or at least close by. Open and west-facing to help mitigate bugs, but plenty of trees to hang tarps for shade and shelter.
You could almost swim to dead man's portage, so that proximity is a plus, depending or your travel plans.

Slightly elevated large island site with some tall pines. Decent fishing from the shore. Really nice view sunset view, would come back.
