Sheltered site in the trees on the island. Limited tent locations. One tent pad up midway from fire pit, and possibly another uphill in the trees, but not idea. Numerous hammock options. Lots of aluminum canoes coming in from points north of Mack lake. Campsites are at a premium on this lake.

We base camped at site 221 to the NW of this site, but we stopped by to check this site out. Almost if not just as good as 221. Lower main area on he south of the island is open but has good cover for tents. Decent landing. A nice "back porch" area on the NW side of the island. I don't remember it looking over used.

Well protected. No bugs. Good fishing nearby.

The site is nestled into the hill of the island and there are moderate sized trees for shade. There is an upper & lower site, small canoe landing and fish pen. The site appears to be heavily used (fishing line, nails in some trees and discarded grates). We usually pack-out trash left behind from others. Fishing is good near the site.
