4 stars because not great for firewood
Great view and a great fire pit area
Landing is ok
There are a couple tent pads that are not super flat
several great locations for hammock camping

Stayed here one night after the big portage into Meeds worked over my travel partner. Landing is okay. Elevated some so you can get a decent view. Kitchen area is pretty open and there is a great view to the west. Some decent trees for hammocks. Latrine isn't too far of a hike. I'd stay here for a couple nights if I come back this way again.

Elevated site on an island. The fire grate area is open but there is good shade as well. There were enough trees to hang a tarp over the fire grate area. There were also good trees for hammocks.
Highlight was the view of the sunset. We liked it well enough to base camp for four nights.
The swimming opportunities were not that great.There were two landings. One pretty much required wet footing. The sloped rock landing proved difficult to get out of a canoe.
There was an open area down a hill that looked like a possibility for a tent except it collects water when it rains. We found room for a 4 person and 3 person tent.
Caught smallies from shore with slip bobber and leech. There is a nice flat frock for filleting fish by the sloped rock landing. Had a hard time finding quality firewood on the island.

2 landings - neither are great. 2 beautiful white pine sentinels stand guard over the site that is also home to lush cedars that rim the island. Elevated fire grate with the best view offered from any site on this lake. Log seating starting to dilapidate. There are several potential tent pads including some behind the latrine, although none are quite top notch. Easy exploration around much of the island as trails extend in every direction. Great tarp & hammock options. Firewood was tough to come by.

This is a pretty nice site, it's large, has good views, good hanging tree, and good tent pads. Swimming opportunities and landing not great due to the presence of slippery boulders. Unfortunately, some jerk scratched graffiti into one of the rocks by the tent pads.

Probably the best site on the lake. Not a ton of firewood on the island so plan on a trip ashore. Caught a lot of walleyes on the south island trolling chartreuse spoons.
