I am including the western site in this rating, though they are actually separated by quite a bit. Both have equal room for tent sites. The eastern side has a huge firepit, while the western side is "normal" sized. Western side has a few downed trees blocking some tent pads. Both have great take out areas. Large sandy area runs the length of the north side of the island, but only a small "beach" near the east site. Fishing around the island was top notch.

Huge campsite, spectacular fire pit, lots of flat granite ledge along shore, thick Red pine forest.
