Very remote campsite, did not see a single canoe go by. The site is very wooded and feels a little different than most BWCA sites. The ground was full with dead pine needles, even around the fire grate, indicating that it is not a heavily used site. There are plenty of options for hammocks, I did not pay attention to tent pads as I am a sky sleeper. If you want to get out there and find some solitude, Ruby lake is the place for you.
