Pretty steep climb from the take out up to the camp area. Nice flat campsites for 3. One of our group camped up higher. Dim trail leads from TZ to U5.

Good spot. Nice view. Slightly elevated but not a huge carry up from the shore. Decent in/out for canoe.

Got pinned down here during the historic rainfall that flooded Duluth. Nice landing area for canoe. Was prone to wind. Elevated above the lake, low lying areas were flooded. Multiple tent pads.

Stopped here for lunch on 9-6-04. Island site, but sanitation and firewood not a problem due to blowdown. Red Pine stand covers island. Exposed to strong west winds blowing across Sarah. Could possibly be more than 2 tent pads. Site is about 8-10 feet above lake elevation. Lots of traffic going past this island. Did not get lat/long.
