Its nice. But only because it doesn't have much to be compared to. I would stay here. Open. Flat. On trail.

This is definitely a hiking site. There really isn't a canoe landing here, and the trail runs straight through. It is small and brushy. Not all that bad if you want to stay on Gogebic, and the other one is full, but only then. It's a last resort.

This site is more situated for hikers & is smack dab in the middle of the Border Route trail. There is a very small opening out to the lake. But, you'll have to know exactly what you're looking for to find it from the water. The site is situated in a grove of trees, so it should offer good shade & protection. There are a few decent tent pads & the latrine in back up the hill heading away from the lake.
