Stopped here after a long exit from Russell and finding most other sites on Pickeral occupied. Canoe take out is not that great, but the site was not bad overall. Two decent tent pads near the fire ring and one not so great. In a pinch there is another good site on the NW corner of the island that is accessed via a faint trail along the west side of the island - it's 75-100' away from the main site. We caught a lot of big smallmouth just offshore in the narrow channels surrounding the island.

Just stopped briefly here. Had a nice fire ring and a few tent pads.
